Religious School and Kolaynu
Religious school at Suburban Temple – Kol Ami is held on Sundays throughout the traditional school year. Class is held from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. From 11:30 until noon, we join together as one community for T’zman Kehillah, or community time.
Our curriculum provides age appropriate learning of Judaism, Jewish traditions and culture, Israel, and more through a balanced curriculum taught by our dedicated professional staff.
Beginning in the seventh grade, students join our Kolaynu program. They become our madrichim, serve as teacher’s aides, helping our youngest students while spending one hour weekly in more advanced study.
For more information on the religious school and Kolaynu, please contact director of lifelong learning, Rabbi Shana Nyer.
