Our speaker this year is Leah Weiss Caruso, director of the Jewish Family Association Service's KNOW ABUSE prevention education program!

She will be speaking on the topic: UpStanding at Sinai: Understanding #MeToo, and Our Obligation to Hear and Act

Leah Weiss Caruso is the director of the Jewish Family Services Association of Cleveland’s KNOW ABUSE(TM) prevention education program. KNOW ABUSE(TM) educates 2000+ teens every year about dating abuse, sexual assault, and intimate partner violence, having healthy relationships, and how to safely help themselves and their friends.

Leah Weiss Caruso has a masters degree in Jewish education from the Jewish Theological Seminary, and has worked in both secular and Jewish education for 20 years. She lives in Shaker Heights with her husband, children, and dogs. We will be serving a special dinner after Shabbat services.
