Selichot: Havdallah, Study and Ritual
Saturday, September 21, 2019 • 21 Elul 5779
7:00 PM - 9:00 PMTBASelichot literally means “forgiveness.” To prepare for the intensity of the High Holy Days, we begin the week before with the ritual of Selichot. This ritual begins the spiritual work of the High Holy Days: to process where we fell short this past year and work on aspirations for the coming year.
Selichot will be particularly meaningful this year as we join for dinner, discussion and ritual at the home of Susan Raphaely and Jonathan Payes.
