Adult Education: Mental Illness: Ending the Stigma through Understanding
Wednesday, June 13, 2018 • 30 Sivan 5778
7:00 PM - 8:30 PMSuburban Temple-Kol AmiHow can we end stigma when we don't even know what mental illness is? It may manifest in so many different ways. Stigma is the number one reason why two-thirds of those living with a mental illness do not seek help.
This session will be presented by Rabbi Vann, Rabbi Shana and Deena Nyer Mendlowitz. Deena was our guest speaker at Kol Nashim Women's Shabbat this past February. She spoke about her own personal experiences in an insightful, candid and often humorous manner. This class is an opportunity to hear her tell her story and should not be missed!
There is no cost to attend, but please RSVP by 6/11 to Robin Smith at 216.991.0700 or via rsmith@suburbantemple.org.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
