Israel Trip 2019: Information and Planning Meeting

One of the best ways to understand and learn is through primary experiences.
When it comes to understanding and learning about Israel: how true this is!
Israel, that historical wonder that pulls at our heartstrings—and frustrates, us too.
Israel, a great and misunderstood country that can both save and soothe; offend and hurt; invent and cultivate.
Israel, that rugged yet soft and beautiful land in which Abraham and Sarah walked, and for which we yearned. Israel, that land that helped us rebuild when we were almost out of hope. Israel, that land that divides us politically, religiously, and militarily.
Israel, the country that is ancient and new—with roads that are thousands of years old, juxtaposed with the site of a high-speed train station that will allow one to travel between Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in less than 30 minutes.
Israel: come and explore it all with me in December of 2019! Our trip will be multi-generational, and all are welcome. Join me for an information session on August 15, at 7 pm. During this session, we’ll explore an initial itinerary, requests, questions, and pricing. To let me know who, and how many will be attending, please email Dale: dhopkins@suburbantemple.org, or call 216-991-0700.
B’shalom-
Rabbi Allison Vann
